Smaking hos Domaine Rion

Her er mine uredigerte notater:
Maxime Rion
2014 Bourgogne Chardonnay
Minerally, ripe green apple nose. Full body, crisp acidity, round with dairy touch, vanilla and buttery notes in finish. Long, elegant.
2014 Nuit-St.-Georges 1er Cru Les Terres Blanches
90 % Chardonnay, 10 % Pinot Blanc. 12 months in oak, 10 % new.
Vanilla, spicy opening. Full, round mouthfeel, peachy note upon yellow apple and pear character, vibrant and fresh, slight buttery note with a dry finish. Long and delicious.
2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées
Intensity and tension on nose, floral, raspberry, feminine. Young, oak not fully integrated, lacking a bit of depth and concentration of the fruit, but very elegant and fresh with delicate tannins. Need 4-5 years in bottle, but unsure of the potential for long aging for this.
2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes
Spicy nose with roses and red fruit. Firm and strict tannins, fresh, oak more integrated in mouth than nose. Kicks in with a lovely depth and concentrated red berry fruit after the tannins. Layered. Charming.
2013 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru Clos des Argillieres
Powerful nose, surprisingly open, riper fruit, blackberry and raspberry. Astringent, but ripe, very fine tannins, tight structure with concentrated black fruit, spicy oak, crisp and long length. A baby, needs lot of time to gain more complexity. Try after 5 years, peaking closer to 8, and keeps well after that.
2013 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru Clos Saint-Marc
Harmonious nose, a bit closed, black fruit and spices integrated. Full, rich, concentrated fruit, complex with blackberries, minerals, a bit chewy, larger tannins. Still ripe, no green notes here. Oak evident in mouth, but getting there. Long with dry finish. Keep.
2008 Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Clos Saint Marc (Monopole)
Evolved nose, decayed leaves mixed with black cherries and wood. Full body, lean style, dried fruits. I like the complexity from aging, but 2008 is still unripe and a bit green for me, it has just gotten older.
2009 Nuits-St-Georgees 1er Cru Clos Saint Marc (fra Coravin)
Very open and ripe, strawberry, oak spices. Primary fruit on nose. Full, opulent body, sweet fruit, integrated oak, 13 % noticeable, some development on palate, smoky note, very complex and long. Open and pleasing now, but will (and need to) evolve a lot more over the next 8-10 years.
